Nick Rapaz

Nick Rapaz is a portrait photographer based out of New York City. 

Nick was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  He completed his undergraduate studies in Acting and Dance, and went on to earn his Actor's Equity card in 2002. That same year, he decided to make the transition into photography, pursuing a growing love of studying and capturing character instead of recreating it. 

Nick moved to NYC in 2007 to take a job as 1st assistant to Platon, and in the years since he has been fortunate to work with many great photographers, including Ruven Afanador, and Ethan James Green.

Nick has shot for Harper's Bazaar, WSJ, Relapse Magazine, The New Yorker Online, The Sunday Times UK, Reem Acra, and many more.  In addition his work has been included in several gallery shows in New York and Minneapolis.
